Khloe Baker
Meet Khloe Baker a whimsical, vintage-inspired paper goods designed to bring a little more magic to the everyday 🌷✨
Created by Leeds-based illustrator Khloe, every card, print, sticker and sheet of gift wrap starts life as a painting in her cosy home studio before being transformed into something you can keep, gift and enjoy. There’s something wonderfully personal about knowing the design in your hands began with an actual brush, paint and one independent maker’s imagination.
Shopping with Khloe means supporting a small, independent creative while choosing thoughtfully produced paper goods. Her work is printed locally in Leeds by PRINT.WORK on FSC-certified paper, and Khloe collects her products herself by foot keeping that production journey close to home.
There’s also something lovely about buying paper goods from an artist who makes everything by hand rather than choosing something churned out for the masses. A card can become a little moment of connection, a print can make your space feel more like you, and a sticker can simply make you smile.

Block and Bobbin
Meet Block and Bobbin - joyful handmade textiles and quirky prints, made slowly, thoughtfully and with a whole lot of personality ✨
Created by Jess in Sheffield, Block and Bobbin is rooted in a love of colour, texture and traditional craft, from gingham ruffle scrunchies and reflective accessories to keep you safer in the dark to hand-carved lino prints, cheerful cards, stickers and uplifting stationery. Every textile piece is sewn by Jess herself in small batches, while her lino designs are created by hand before being given a second life across different products.
And that small-batch approach is a big part of what makes shopping with Block and Bobbin feel different. Rather than mass producing huge quantities, Jess creates intentionally, minimising waste and focusing on making things that are properly loved and used. It’s a lovely reminder that sustainability can also look like quality, care and choosing something you’ll want to keep.
Wellbeing is woven through the brand too. Inspired by her own experience of finding calm through making, Jess creates affirmation cards and uplifting pieces designed to offer little moments of encouragement, comfort and joy. Her work is also shaped by her passion for inclusivity and supporting people's wellbeing through her work with a mental health charity.

Glass Lore
Meet Glass Lore - handcrafted stained glass inspired by nature, made slowly with the hope that it will still be sparkling decades from now ✨
From birds and butterflies to seeds, landscapes and stars, each piece brings traditional stained-glass craft into the here and now, with everything made by one maker in a little studio in East Yorkshire. There’s a real emphasis on making stained glass feel accessible too, with pieces ranging from artwork to more affordable little treasures.
Sustainability is built into the making process. Vintage and antique glass is used wherever possible, every scrap of glass is carefully conserved and even the tiniest remaining pieces are recycled. It’s a beautiful example of making thoughtfully with what already exists, while creating something designed to last rather than be quickly replaced.
So when you choose Glass Lore, you’re not just buying something pretty to hang in your home. You’re supporting traditional craft, slow consumption and a tiny independent studio choosing something made to be loved for a very, very long time.

Retro Vintage Football Club
Meet Retro Vintage Football Club a pre-loved football shirts with stories, memories and a whole lot of nostalgia ⚽️
For this independent business, football is about much more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about the memories attached to a shirt, the people you watched games with, the places you grew up around and the life experiences that become wrapped up in the beautiful game. The founder calls it “Therapy through football” using those memories and connections as a way to support their own wellbeing.
And when you shop here, you’re giving existing clothing another chance to be loved. Shirts are sourced pre-loved from charity shops, car boot sales and a warehouse in Hull, then cleaned and generally tidied up before being sold at fair prices.
Rather than buying something brand new, you’re choosing a piece of football history that already exists helping keep a garment in circulation while finding something with its own story and character.
There’s something pretty special about that combination of nostalgia and mindful shopping: finding a shirt that reminds you of a player, a team, a season or simply a time in your life, while supporting an independent seller along the way.

Pasoluna
Meet Pasoluna; an independent little corner of the internet for beautiful, interesting things chosen because they genuinely help you live more consciously 🌏
Run by Laura, Pasoluna is all about discovering pieces with colour, character and good design the sort of things you don’t see absolutely everywhere. Everything stocked is personally chosen, with a simple philosophy: if Laura wouldn’t happily have it in her own home or give it as a gift, it probably doesn’t belong in the shop.
That makes shopping with Pasoluna feel a little more like getting a recommendation from a friend whose taste you trust, rather than being told what you need next. There’s much more interest in finding something you genuinely love than endlessly chasing trends or buying for the sake of it.
Sustainability is part of those choices too. Laura looks for brands using recycled, natural or more considered materials, thoughtful production methods and products designed to be enjoyed for longer. Packaging is kept minimal and reused where possible, and there’s an honest understanding that no retail business is perfect mindful shopping is about making better choices where you can and continuing to learn.
And because wellbeing can be found in the little things, Pasoluna celebrates products that make everyday life feel nicer: a home you love spending time in, a thoughtful gift, a moment of calm or simply something that makes you smile.

Evergreen Vintage
Meet Evergreen Vintage, heritage clothing with the polished feel of classic fashion, but the warmth and accessibility of your favourite vintage shop 🤎
Evergreen was born from a love of beautifully made, empowering clothing and a frustration that those worlds could often feel exclusive or inaccessible. The answer? Bringing together carefully curated vintage and heritage pieces with the welcoming, friendly feeling that makes vintage shopping so special.
Rather than following every new trend or encouraging disposable fashion, Evergreen keeps quality clothing in circulation. Pieces are sourced through wholesale suppliers and archive collectors, including an expanding network overseas, helping well-made garments continue their lives instead of being replaced by something brand new.
But the experience matters just as much as the clothing. Evergreen is all about the joy of shopping in person for the conversations, the music, the atmosphere and being able to explore a piece without feeling like someone is trying to pressure you into buying it.
They belief that great clothing should be something everyone can explore, regardless of background or personal style. Because fashion can be a brilliant way to express who you are, without having to fit into someone else’s idea of what you should look like.
So if you love clothes with history, craftsmanship and character and want your wardrobe to feel a little more considered Evergreen Vintage is one to have a rummage through.

Amy Mariah
Silly little ideas can bring surprisingly big smiles and that's exactly what Amy Mariah is all about. Amy is an illustrator who turned her love of creativity into an independent stationery, greetings and gift business after graduating with a textiles degree in 2020, during lockdown.
In the middle of so much uncertainty and isolation, creating became a way to stay connected to her creativity. Six years on, those playful ideas have grown into a collection of illustrated products designed to make people smile, from stationery and greetings cards to thoughtful little gifts.
But there's a serious thoughtfulness behind the fun. Reducing plastic and single-use plastic in the gift and greetings industry is a major priority for Amy so much so that it was the subject of her university dissertation. She also supports reforestation projects through orders placed on her website, helping customers make a positive contribution through their purchases.
Amy's work is a lovely reminder that gifts don't need to be extravagant to mean something. Sometimes it's a funny illustration, a card that feels just right or a small surprise that makes someone's day.
When you shop Amy Mariah, you're supporting an independent creative who wants to bring more joy into the world while thinking carefully about the environmental impact of gifting. Because treating yourself or sending someone a little happiness shouldn't have to cost the Earth

arkiveofmyown
Sometimes the smallest things hold the biggest memories. That's the inspiration behind arkiveofmyown, the cosy stationery brand created by Kimberly, also known as Kimmy. Originally from Malaysia and now based in the UK, Kimmy draws on childhood memories, family traditions, favourite foods and everyday moments to create playful illustrations that feel personal, nostalgic and full of heart.
With a background in animation, Kimmy has always loved drawing and storytelling. But arkiveofmyown grew from a desire to create something people could enjoy away from a screen, little pockets of happiness for desks, notebooks, water bottles and bookshelves. From a tangerine character going about its day to illustrations inspired by Chinese New Year and familiar foods, her work celebrates the small details that make life meaningful.
Every illustration is created by Kimmy, and she produces products in small batches or to order wherever possible to help reduce overproduction. She also gives clean cardboard packaging a second life as print backing cards and prioritises paper and cardboard for shipping where practical.
Inclusivity is central to her work. Kimmy understands how special it can feel to see your culture, traditions and everyday experiences reflected in art, and hopes her illustrations help people feel connected, understood and welcome. She wants every customer to leave feeling a little lighter, whether they've found a thoughtful gift or something that reminds them of home.
Shopping arkiveofmyown means supporting an independent illustrator who creates with care for people, materials and the stories we share. Because joy doesn't always need to be big sometimes it's a tiny illustration that makes you smile.

debo clay
Ceramics that are made to be used, enjoyed and loved with a whole lot of thought behind them. Meet debo clay, a small independent ceramics practice created by an artist whose love of making has been part of life since childhood.
Alongside other community arts work, the maker began exploring ceramics as a way to enjoy the process of creating something practical and functional. After discovering that working in a shared studio wasn't easy to balance with raising three children and other commitments, a small room at home became a personal ceramics studio, complete with a kiln and wheel.
Working independently means output is intentionally small, with each piece made with care. The maker also takes a considered approach to the environmental impact of ceramics: all clay scraps are reclaimed and reused, an energy-efficient electric kiln helps reduce energy use, and the studio is powered by Ecotricity. Ethical considerations extend to the businesses and suppliers used, with cooperatives prioritised where possible.
Shopping debo clay means supporting a maker who values practical, long-lasting objects, thoughtful production and sharing creativity with others. And if you're browsing at a market, there's no pressure to rush, take your time, enjoy the pieces and discover something you'll love bringing into your everyday routine.

The thoughtful touches extend beyond the scent, too. Dill uses recycled paper labels, and its jars are made with 45% recycled content and are fully recyclable. All products are vegan, and small-batch production helps minimise waste.
We love the idea of choosing a candle for how you want to feel, whether that's calm, comfort, nostalgia or a little seasonal magic. DrinkSloe
A family recipe, Yorkshire sloes and a little patience that's the story behind DrinkSloe. This small, family-led Yorkshire business began with a sloe gin recipe passed down through generations. Where possible, DrinkSloe uses locally foraged Yorkshire sloes, working with landowners and local contacts, and aims to minimise waste through small-batch production and careful packaging choices. The business also reuses and recycles packaging wherever possible, while producing only what it needs to avoid unnecessary stock.
At its heart, DrinkSloe is about connection: family traditions, time outdoors and the pleasure of sharing something meaningful with other people. Francis Underwater
For the people who love a little character in their home, meet Francis Underwater. Francis is a figurative sculptor and ceramicist creating wonderfully expressive pieces that bring humour, warmth and individuality into everyday life. Francis originally studied Film Production and screenwriting, and you can still see that love of characters running through the work. After discovering sculpture, Francis knew it was the creative outlet they'd been searching for and has since made it their full-time passion.
Every piece is made with care and the intention of being cherished for years, not simply used and discarded. Francis wants each ceramic to feel like a little friend you bring home something that makes you smile every time you see it.

Irregular Signs
For the alternative babes, the horror lovers, the metalheads, the queer community and anyone whose home decor deserves a little more attitude, meet Irregular Signs. Natalie runs this one-woman embroidery brand, creating bold, unapologetic designs across embroidered signs, cushions and accessories. Expect plenty of personality, pop-culture references, alternative aesthetics and, yes, a healthy amount of swearing.
Irregular Signs is about more than making things that look good. Natalie creates work inspired by the communities she belongs to and loves, using art to bring people together, spark joy and help people feel seen. Her designs embrace the wonderfully weird rather than trying to fit everyone into the same mould, and we think there's something pretty special about shopping somewhere that celebrates being yourself.
Natalie's mindful approach also includes making thoughtful choices with materials. She sources plenty of items from charity shops and buys fabric from mills in Lancashire and local wholesalers where possible. This helps give pre-loved materials another purpose while supporting suppliers closer to home.
The business also grew from Natalie's determination to prioritise her own wellbeing after experiencing redundancy more than once. That experience inspired her to champion others putting their health first, and to create Wonderfully Weird, a local market where like-minded creatives can share their work and find their people.
When you shop Irregular Signs, you're supporting a maker who puts community, self-expression and individuality at the heart of everything she does. It's a reminder that mindful shopping isn't about everyone buying the same "right" thing it's about choosing things that reflect who you are and supporting the people who make you feel welcome

Made Mignon
For anyone who loves timeless style, beautiful textures and the feeling of wearing something made with care, meet Made Mignon. Founded by Petra, this independent, female-owned fashion brand grew from a long-standing love of knitting, sewing and creating mindful moments through craft.
Petra's creative journey began long before the business itself, with crochet while travelling and sewing as a way to slow down when life felt busy. Today, she brings together everything she's learned - including working with three manual knitting machines - to create handmade fashion with a minimalist aesthetic and a focus on quality over quantity.
Every Made Mignon piece is designed and handmade by Petra in the UK, produced slowly and in small batches. Rather than chasing each new trend, the brand champions timeless designs that can remain part of your wardrobe for years. Natural fibres such as alpaca, mohair and wool are chosen for their qualities and their ability to biodegrade under suitable conditions. These materials can also require less frequent washing, with airing often enough between wears.
The thoughtful approach continues into the packaging, with swing tags made from recycled cotton and packaging made from paper or cotton.
Shopping Made Mignon means choosing a piece with time, skill and intention woven into it. It's a gentle reminder that we don't need endless new clothes to enjoy fashion sometimes one beautifully made piece that we truly love is worth far more than a wardrobe full of passing trends.

Marta Jaskot Illustration
If your happy place is a home filled with little things that make you smile, you need to meet Marta Jaskot Illustration! Marta is an illustrator and pattern maker based in Yorkshire, creating nature-inspired wall art and lampshades featuring her own printed fabrics. Her work celebrates the wonder of the world around us, especially animals, and her animal alphabet is a particular favourite for introducing you to creatures you might never have heard of before.
Everything is made in small batches in Marta’s Yorkshire studio, with printing carried out in the UK. She also uses eco-friendly packaging, works to minimise unnecessary waste, and turns imperfect prints into handmade notebooks rather than letting them go to waste. We love a maker who sees beauty in the imperfect, because those little quirks are part of what makes handmade pieces so special.
Shopping with Marta means choosing thoughtfully made pieces with a story behind them, rather than mass-produced homeware. Whether you’re brightening up your own space or finding a thoughtful gift for someone who loves nature, her work is a lovely reminder that surrounding ourselves with things we adore can bring a little more joy into everyday life

Marylusi Jewellery
Cute, shiny things made with love, a little creativity and a whole lot of heart? Meet Marylusi Jewellery. Lucia is the Leeds-based maker behind the brand, whose love of creating began with personalised polymer-clay accessories and grew into a passion for handmade jewellery. After taking jewellery-making courses locally, she gradually built up her own tools and skills, turning a little dream into a growing independent business.
Lucia designs and makes every piece herself, using 100% recycled sterling silver and ethically sourced gemstones and crystals. She buys from small dealers and other independent businesses wherever possible, and even melts down leftover silver scraps to create new designs. Her handmade display also makes use of upcycled, thrifted and locally sourced materials. When packing online orders, she reuses tissue paper from incoming deliveries and avoids plastic packaging.
One of the loveliest things about Lucia's work is the personal connection she brings to it. At markets, she brings a selection of stones so customers can create bespoke pieces on the spot making jewellery shopping feel like a shared creative experience rather than a quick transaction.
Her pieces are designed to last, with timeless designs that go beyond fleeting trends. When you shop Marylusi Jewellery, you're supporting a local maker, independent suppliers and a slower, more considered way of creating. And you might just find a piece that feels like you!

Merryn Milton
Merryn Milton creates contemporary heirlooms inspired by ancient and medieval jewels, reimagining classic pearl jewellery with a modern twist. Working from her Sheffield studio, Merryn handmakes every piece herself, with a belief that jewellery should be treasured for a lifetime rather than replaced when trends change.
Merryn works exclusively with solid precious metals, avoiding plating that can eventually wear away. Recycled precious metals are sourced wherever possible, while metal offcuts are collected for reuse or recycling. She also chooses pre-owned gemstones and pearls whenever suitable, helping give existing materials a new life. When sourcing stones, she prioritises suppliers who are transparent about their origins and aims to choose conflict-free options.
But these pieces are about more than beautiful materials. Merryn sees jewellery as a way to express who you are, especially when words don't always come easily. Every piece can become a little extension of your personality, carrying memories and meaning as you wear it. With thoughtful packaging made from recycled materials and encouragement to care for and repair your jewellery, Merryn creates pieces to keep, love and pass on. Because the most meaningful purchases aren't always the ones we make often, but the ones we cherish for years.

Moody Cow Studio
Run by a Leeds-based, queer independent maker, this one-woman studio creates bold prints, cards and homewares with dry humour, unapologetic colour and absolutely no unnecessary twee.
The business began in 2021 when its founder couldn't find designs that felt right, so she started drawing her own. Those illustrations struck a chord with people, and what began as a creative hobby grew into a business built around making people laugh and feel seen. The best compliment? Someone reading a print and declaring, "That's so me!"
Moody Cow Studio is thoughtful about production, too. Products are made in small batches, with reorders based on what actually sells rather than guesswork. Printing is carried out in the UK wherever possible, the tea towels are GOTS-certified and made at a mill in North London, and packaging is kept minimal.
Inclusivity matters just as much as the products themselves. Designs aren't gendered, and the stall is intended to be a welcoming place where everyone can browse without feeling judged. By shopping Moody Cow Studio, you're supporting a real person, an independent queer-owned business and the kind of creativity that can make an ordinary Tuesday a little bit funnier.

Pots by noodle
Pots by noodle is a one-woman ceramics business making pieces with that literally say how you actually feel with your morning cuppa…
The maker's approach is refreshingly simple: create with care, enjoy the process and find ways to make the most of the materials available. Even mistakes are given another chance, with all ceramic mistakes recycled rather than simply thrown away.
That commitment to reuse is a lovely reminder that the creative process doesn't have to be perfect to be worthwhile. Materials can be reclaimed, experiments can lead to something unexpected, and a piece's value comes from more than whether it turned out exactly as planned.
As an independent maker, Pots by noodle offers something different from mass-produced homeware: ceramics shaped by an individual creative practice, with the personality and character that say what we’re all actually thinking…

The Cozy Club
Because getting cosy should feel like a little luxury, meet The Cozy Club. Founded by Iram, this independent sleepwear brand was created to bridge the gap between inexpensive synthetic pyjamas and much pricier premium options. Thoughtfully designed sleepwear that feels special, comfortable and feminine without compromising on quality.
The Cozy Club is all about making staying in something to look forward to. Its pyjamas feature cotton-rich fabrics, soft textures and considered details, designed to feel lovely against your skin while still looking put-together. Iram takes a hands-on approach to the brand, from developing products and selecting fabrics to creating the visual world around each collection.
The current pyjama collections use 93% cotton and 7% elastane, prioritising cotton-rich sleepwear over heavily synthetic alternatives. The business also produces in relatively small quantities and carefully samples and refines products before bulk production, with a focus on quality and longevity rather than constantly chasing fast-fashion trends.
Wellbeing sits at the heart of The Cozy Club. Rest isn't something we need to earn, and taking time to feel comfortable in our own space can be a lovely part of looking after ourselves. The brand also works with models of different ethnic backgrounds and body types, with fit and sizing continuing to be considered as it grows.
Shopping The Cozy Club means investing in sleepwear designed to be worn and enjoyed, not just another passing trend. Think slower mornings, cosy evenings and feeling a little bit spoiled in your own home.

This Leeds-based small-batch hot sauce business specialises in smoked and fermented sauces, bringing together a love of cooking, gardening and experimenting with flavour.
After eight years of developing recipes, the maker has created a range designed to suit different palates and heat tolerances. ZOLA.remade
A bag with a past, a new purpose and a whole lot of personality? Meet ZOLA.remade, the upcycling brand founded by Jackie, who transforms unwanted textiles, particularly denim, into unique, handmade bags.
Jackie's journey began while volunteering in a charity shop, where she was surprised by just how much unsold clothing was being destroyed. Rather than accepting that as the end of the story, she decided to do something about it. By giving discarded textiles a second life, ZOLA.remade helps keep usable materials out of landfill and turns them into something you can carry and enjoy every day.
Each bag is made using unwanted textiles and materials, meaning you're choosing a piece that celebrates reuse instead of relying on new resources. The bags are also customisable and adaptable, giving conscious shoppers the chance to find something that feels right for their own needs and style.
And that's the lovely thing about shopping with upcyclers: you're not just buying another accessory. You're supporting a maker who sees potential where others might see waste, and helping show that fashion doesn't have to mean constantly buying new. Every piece has its own character, and every purchase supports a more thoughtful approach to what we already have. Your next favourite bag might just have had another life before yours.

Today, The Wonky Bookshelf is about more than finding your next read. It's about creating a welcoming space where people can explore their interests, discover new perspectives and feel comfortable being themselves.
The collection specialises in alternative and gothic fiction, alongside second-hand books, blind books and handmade crochet pieces such as bookmarks and Kindle sleeves.
